Happy Independence Day! Since so many of you will be off work enjoying your backyards and other people’s this week, we thought we’d do something a bit different.

Our Bombay Outdoors website’s been live since March 31 and since that time we’ve been trying to post stories that we hope inspire you to take a journey—literally by highlighting places to visit or interesting gardening techniques or figuratively by showing you different outdoor décor options and adventurous recipes from other countries as well as old favorites.

To get to know you better, we’ve also been asking lots of questions on our Facebook page and asking you to post pictures. We LOVE seeing and sharing photos of your beautiful backyards and gardens!

In the next month, we’ll be introducing you to more people on our Bombay Outdoors team, the designers who’ve been working on our new outdoor décor collection. In the meantime, however, we’d like to look back and reintroduce some oldies but goodies, favorite stories you might have missed the first time but we think are worth reading.
